Boldin Traded to Baltimore
Arizona Cardinals finally traded wide receiver Anquan Boldin on Friday to the Baltimore Ravens.
In exchange for Boldin and the Cards’ fifth-round draft pick – 159th overall – the Cardinals received the Ravens’ third- and fourth-round picks – 89th and 124th overall. ESPN is also reporting Boldin will receive a three-year, $25 million extension with $10 million guaranteed on top of the one year left (at $3 million) on his current deal.
The Cards’ new fourth-round pick and the Ravens’ new fifth-round pick will be pushed lower in the draft after compensatory draft picks are announced at the owners’ meetings later this month.
Boldin, 29, caught 84 passes for 1,024 yards and two touchdowns last season. Although Boldin has had difficulty staying healthy throughout his pro career, he has amassed at least 1,000 yards receiving in five of his seven seasons.

Do these type of trades ever pay off? We just lost our over the middle big receiver for some rookies to be named later. Not a good trade in my humble opinion. Now that we have no quarterback – this offense and team has taken several big steps backwards
